ILying in the central northern part of Nepal,
Ganesh Himal(7406m) is the holy mountain of the Hindus.
Ganesh is the God of fortune, good luck and prosperous.
It is believed that trek to the base of this mountain is
to respect Ganesh. The last destination of the trek is by
the Ganesh Himal glacier that is very close to the Tibetan
border. Himalayan views, nice river and glacial valleys,
mix culture of Hindu and Buddhist, temperate forest and
sub-alpine shrubs harboring the various faunal species allure
the trekkers.
Detailed itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu (1310m)
Day 02 : Drive to Arughat (510m).
Day 03 : Hike to Kyoropani (1000m).
Day 04 : Hike to Labu Besi (1150m).
Day 05 : Hike to Tatopani (2000m).
Day 06 : Hike up toagat (1250m)
Day 07 : Jagat to Philim(2000m). .
Day 08 : Hike to Sarte Bhanjyang(2600m).
Day 09 : Sarte Bhanjyang to Chamari Kharka (3450m).
Day 10 : Chamari Kharka to Kharka (4000m)
Day 11 : Explore Torogompa Glacier and icefall of Ganesh
Himal.
Day 12-17 : Hike back to Arughat.
Day 18 : Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 19 : Sightseeing and shopping in Kathmandu. Day20 Fly
back home.
