trek. We can also get the field essentials like sleeping bags,
down jackets, backpacks, rain/wind jackets, pile jackets,
expedition equipment, water bottle etc in rent in Kathmandu
and Pokhara.
It's always better to have your own equipment,
clothing and other gears as follows
- Sleeping bag
- Down jacket
- Wind jacket
- Rain jacket (during summer/Jun-Sept, or winter(
Dec-Mar)
- Pile jacket
- Bagpack
- T-shirts
- Sweater
- Warm underwear and socks (enough)
- Hiking shoes/trekking boots
- Hiking stick (if needs)
- Flashlight/headlight
- Sun /snow glasses
- Hat -Prescribed medicine and sun cream
- Camera /digital camera /video camera .. as
per your interest
- Small gifts like T-shirts, pen, ..for the
porters
- Research gear for the researcher
