Dhorpatan Circuit Trek (PP)

Overview

Lying in the lap of Dhaulagiri and Putha Himalaya range, this trek offers the traditional villages, unique Magar tribal and slightly Tibetan culture along with the endless heart beating scenery of Dhaulagiri, Churen Himal, Putha Himal, Kakot Himal, Kanjirowa, lakes, river valleys, villages and cultivated fields. Dhorpatan is a Hunting Reserve where is an opportunity of hunting particular animals with special permission.

Package Itineary

(Average hike 6-7 hours a day)

Day 01: Arrive Pokhara (820m), preparation for the trip, hotel

Day 02: Drive to Burtibang (1100m), full day drive, beautiful river valleys, traditional villages, hotel

Day 03: Drive to Dhorpatan (2860m), explore traditional village, typical lifestyle, grasslands, camp

Day 04: Hike to Phagune Phedi (3850m), typical lifestyle and beautiful landscape, camp

Day 05: Phedi - Pass (3930m) - Thankur (3175m), wonderful nature, landscape, camp

Day 06: Hike to Tatopani (2360m), beautiful landscape, forests and classic Magar tribal culture, camp

Day 07: Hike to Dhule (3410m), classic Magar tribal culture, landscape, camp

Day 08: Dhule - Pupal Phedi (3450m), red panda, blue sheep, snow leopard, beautiful landscape, camp

Day 09: Pupal Phedi - Naudhare Pass (4490m) - Lamsar Khola (3730m), wonderful landscape, wildlife, camp

Day 10: Hike to Putha Dogari Khola (3990m), interesting hidden glacial valleys, wildlife, camp

Day 11: Dogari Khola - Pass (4690m) - Marmi Lake (4540m), magical Himalaya scenery, glacial lakes, camp

Day 12: Explore flora, fauna, Himalaya panorama, summer yarsagomba expedition, Buki Patan (4500m), camp

Day 13: Marmi - Jharchaur (3970m), grasslands, river valleys, Himalaya panorama, wildlife, camp

Day 14: Jharchaur - Gurjakhani (2620m), classic culture, typical lifestyle, traditional village, camp

Day 15: Gurjakhani - Deurali (3400m) - Lulang (2470m), classic culture and typical lifestyle, camp

Day 16: Lulang - Sibang (1680m), drive to Tatopani (890m), hot spring bath, camp

Day 17: Drive back to Pokhara (820m), free afternoon, hotel

Day 18: Explore lakeside city; lakes, temples, caves, creeks and waterfall, stupas, majestic Himalaya, hotel

Day 19: Program over, fly back home.

Detailed Trip Cost

Entire trip cost per person (USD): $2,999

1pax complimentary in every 11 paid guests group

Trip cost includes:
All accommodation (twin sharing basis) & food; three meals a day -breakfast, lunch and dinner (except bar bill), insured crew (guide, porters, donkeys, dzopa, yaks and necessary kitchen crew for camping trek), all essential permits, all domestic transportation as per the itinerary, service charge and government taxes.

Trip cost does not include:
Personal expenses (like laundry, communication, alcohol, cold drinks and bottled water during trekking), gratuity to serving crew, emergency evacuation, international airfare, visa, your travel insurance and any kind of gifts and donation.

Payment system

80% of total trip budget must be paid in advance (the amount should be appeared to our account just two weeks before the trips) for domestic airline tickets, permits, hotel bookings reconfirmation and essential preparations.
Balance can be paid before or during/after the trip.

Refund system
In case of trip cancellation in the last 10 days of group arrival, 50% of the deposited amount will be deducted. If the trip cancels 10 days before the group arrival, we settle the full amount in next trip.
