Tsum Valley Trek (KK)

Overview

Lying in trans-Himalayan region of Manaslu region, a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage Tsum valley offers Gurung & Bhotia culture heritage, great Himalayan beauty, and a rich mountain biological diversity where we see traditional villages, lifestyle of locals, cultivated fields, wonderful landscape, glacial valleys, monasteries, thundering cascades, and the great view of Buddha Himal, Ganesh Himal and Sringi Himal. It is believed that great magical monk; the spiritual teacher Milarepa meditated here in the mountain cave. This region falls in restricted area and needs special permits to be issued from the government through registered trekking companies of Nepal.

Package Itineary

(average hike 6-7 hour a day)

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1310m), transfer to hotel
Day 02: Drive to Arughat (570m), picture views, drive through traditional villages in the countryside

Day 03: Drive to Lapubesi (880m), drive through beautiful traditional villages and fields with waterfall views
Day 04: Hike to Tatopani (990m), hike along narrow Budhi Gandaki valley
Day 05: Hike to Jagat (1340m), beautiful Budhigandaki cascades and valley, explore traditional village, restricted area starts from here.

Day 06: Hike up to Philim (1570m).
Day 07: Hike to Chumling (2386m); lower Tsum valley
Day 08: Hike up to Chhokangparo(3030m); upper Tsum valley

Day 09: Hike to Nile (3380m), walk by Milarepa Piren Phu Cave.

Day 10: Hike to Mu Gompa (3700m), visit Dhephyudonma Gomopa (4060m); highest point of the trip

Day 11: Explore in and around Mu Gompa

Day 12: Hike back to Rachen Gompa(3240m)

Day 13: Hike to Dumje (2460m)

Day 14: Hike back down to Philim (1570m)
Day 15: Hike down to Tatopani (990m)
Day 16: Hike down to Soti Khola (700m)
Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 18: Sightseeing and shopping in Kathmandu.
Day 19: Fly back home.

Detailed Trip Cost

Entire trip cost per person (USD): $3199 (including restricted area permit) / 1pax complimentary in every 11 paid guests in group

Trip cost includes:
All accommodation (twin sharing basis) & food; three meals a day -breakfast, lunch and dinner (except bar bill), insured crew (guide, porters, donkeys, dzopa, yaks and necessary kitchen crew for camping trek), all essential permits, all domestic transportation as per the itinerary, service charge and government taxes.

Trip cost does not include:
Personal expenses (like laundry, communication, alcohol, cold drinks and bottled water during trekking), gratuity to serving crew, emergency evacuation, international airfare, visa, your travel insurance and any kind of gifts and donation.

Payment system

80% of total trip budget must be paid in advance (the amount should be appeared to our account just two weeks before the trips) for domestic transportation, permits, hotel bookings reconfirmation and essential preparations.
Balance can be paid before or during/after the trip.

Refund system
In case of trip cancellation in the last 10 days of group arrival, 50% of the deposited amount will be deducted. If the trip cancels 10 days before the group arrival, we settle the full amount in next trip.
